The Woman Action Group was established in May 2004 and registered as a NPO on 4 November 2004. The focus were issues relating to women, but later changed to HIV / AIDS. The target group includes all ages, gender and racial groups The areas of operation include Hawston, Hermanus, Mount Pleasant , Zwelihle, Stanford, and Gansbaai.
